Mirboo North Community Garden

I was hired by the newly formed committee and developed a design based on utilising the flattest and most accessible part of the small site in Baromi Park in Mirboo North. The beds were designed to be wheel chair accessible and connected to a gathering area in front of the small shipping container shed.

Once the design was finished and funding and approvals obtained by the committee I contributed to getting the landscaping started by building and filling out the steel-edged crushed rock platform and associated drainage.

The garden was finished by the community including major contribution by the local Men’s Shed. I think you will agree that it looks fabulous. Whoever is growing the veggies seems to really know what they are doing also!
